Dear God, and so it starts

This is my first Blog, by the way I  hate portmanteau words too! This is a web log, a log for the world wide web. I like logs, you can burn them or carve them, they provide heat and/or aesthetic beauty. This web log so far does neither, although the computer room is quite warm so maybe just as well.
I  hope it gets better than this. hmmm.
